Enter the culinary realm of Chef Andrew Zimmern's Twin Cities home and kitchen renovation, where every detail celebrates the art of cooking.

Balancing sleek modernity with practicality was key. Collaborating with the Streeter team, Chef Zimmern tailored the home to his culinary needs, while Puustelli Kitchen USA provided cabinetry and innovative storage solutions to accommodate his culinary essentials.

The kitchen, now the focal point upon entry, seamlessly merges with the lofty living room, inviting guests to enjoy their host’s culinary creativity firsthand. Hidden hooks in the fireplace and a removable grill and low grate for building a coal base, create a true working hearth. Cooking in the fireplace is energy efficient, warming the home while simultaneously feeding the home.

Custom finishes of Shou Sugi Ban blackened wood reinforce the Japanese-Scandinavian aesthetic along with details, Emtek Stuttgart door levers and Brizo Litze kitchen faucet and pot filler. State-of-the-art Gaggenau appliances anchor the kitchen and prioritizing sustainability, the Chef intentionally chose a smaller refrigerator to combat food waste.

The 1980s era home was updated featuring expansive Marvin® windows and doors in ebony, and frame picturesque views of the wooded property, seamlessly connecting indoors with nature.
